Patterned Cardigan

Pages from the visual diary, of a Fair Isle inspired cropped cardigan. Handknitted with 8ply wool.
This design has no armhole shaping and the sleeve is worked downwards from armhole to cuff. The shaping was kept very simple as I was learning Fair Isle patterning on this model. The groovy old buttons, which matched perfectly, belonged to my grandmother.

Girl's Crochet Bag

I don't think I've got the ''bag bug'', although many ideas are flowing in.
This smaller version of the previous one, is designed for a young girl. The charm dangle has a butterfly and blue glass hearts, as well as stone beads in matching colours of the yarn.
The lining, with zipper closure is ming blue floral - a tiny granny print, with a different blue floral, side pocket.

70's Style Bag

I felt inspired to create another crochet bag - reminiscent of the hippy style of the late 60's - early 70's ....... and so the rather dated colour scheme ! This is a shoulder bag. A decorative aspect, I've noticed, on all the designer handbags now is the charm dangle .... a "must have" statement icon, and so, in keeping up with things, this model also has a dangle - of matching wooden beads. :)

Monique's Bolero Shrug

A cosy little shrug in the making - for a 9 year old. The design is an all over lacy pattern with crochet edges and a clasp with a crochet rose at the front.
